Housing industry reaps what it sows
A recent front page article in the Australian Financial Review revealed that the housing industry and green groups are at loggerheads over proposed national rules to improve energy efficiency in the home.
The article naturally included dire warnings from the housing industry that implementation could impose a cost burden of almost $1 billion over the next decade.

Muller Industries has beaten strong competition from all over the world to win the prestigious 2010 AHR Expo Innovation Award for Refrigeration.
Muller Industries will now be recognised at the awards ceremony on Tuesday, January 26th 2010 at the 2010 AHR Expo, to be held in Orlando Florida.

Following continued domestic growth and the company's expansion into the North American market, Muller Industries Australia has appointed Peter Schey to the position of General Manager.
Having joined Muller Industries in May this year as Business Development Manager for New South Wales, Queensland and the ACT, Peter now heads up the Australian and European activities of the company.
"It's an exciting time to be heading up the Australian and European arms of Muller Industries. Sales are increasing and we are expanding our manufacturing facility in Melbourne to meet this growing demand," he said.
In addition to Peter's appointment, Muller Industries has also appointed Gary Wheeler to the position of QA/Production Manager.
